Programs
As part of Dream Clubhouse rehabilitative program, members take part in the Work-Ordered Day by actively engaging in one or more of the Clubhouse units. These structured tasks are intentionally designed to build pre-vocational skills, reinforce consistent daily routines, strengthen social and interpersonal abilities, and support the development of independent living skills. All new members rotate through each unit, gaining practical experience in the daily operations of the Clubhouse.
Work-Ordered Day
-
Clerical Unit
In this unit members learn to prepare the monthly newsletter, assist with new referrals, provide support to newly referred members, answer phones, maintain attendance records, inventory Clubhouse supplies and assist with ordering supplies.
-
Culinary Unit
Our Culinary Unit is responsible for preparing and serving meals to members. This unit prepares menus and grocery shopping lists. Meals prepared in our kitchen include vegetables grown in our organic garden, when available.
Monthly Programs
Each month at Dream Clubhouse, we plan fun and helpful activities that get everyone involved. These activities help members make friends, learn new skills, and take part in the community. They also help members grow, feel more confident, and become more independent as they work on their personal goals in a caring and supportive place.
